Position: Heavy Duty Mechanic / Technician(s) Position Type: Full time - Permanent. Location: Kelowna, BC. Work Schedule: Four 10-hour days. Afternoon shifts: Monday to Thursday & Tuesday to Friday Position Overview We are looking for experience Heavy Duty Mechanics / Technicians who are ready to build a long-term career working on all OEM Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers, and Motorhomes. Generous annual tool and boot allowance Quality tooling, computer systems and cleanliness Job Description We are looking to IMMEDIATELY hire Mechanics / Technicians to support the service, maintenance and repair of heavy trucks, trailers, and motorhomes. These are FULL-TIME, PERMANENT positions. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain class 6,7 and 8 vehicles and trailers. Maintain efficient and accurate workmanship in a safe and professional environment. Test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults. Qualifications Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. Commercial Transport (Truck and Transport Mechanic) Journeyman Certificate (or Red Seal). Heavy Truck and Trailer subject matter expert. Initiative-taker able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment. Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift. Must have own tools (required tool list will be provided). Class 5 driver's license. Class 1, Class 3, and MVI Certifications are a bonus.
